• Hard Disk Standard Types Geometry

  I needed it once, but I couldn't find it in all the web.

• Maxtor has a good database of Hard-Disks. Google may bring you to Maxtor's website while looking for Hard Disk information.

• Upgrading & Repairing PCs Eighth Edition, Chapter 14, Hard Disk Drives and next chapters seem a good source about hard disk internal structure and behaviour. I haven't read it yet.
